COMEDK Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka, also stand strikingly different from NEET. It majorly focuses on Class 12 syllabus only. So students, now preparing for NEET may find it difficult to jump back to 11 class syllabus for preparation.

Though there is some difference, but broadly NEET is based on similar patterns & syllabus. Moreover each of the states will have their separate merit list based on which the students would be admitted to the state colleges. In nutshell, they would be competing against their state students who are in the same boat. So, all of them would score less in the syllabus which does not pertain to their state. Looking at all the given changes introduced through NEET , it can be said that NEET in medical and JEE in Engineering are more or less on the same lines fundamentally pertaining to the admission window open to students from different states around the country.
Students will have to put extra efforts to make it to their dream medical colleges. It is advisable to students not to pay much attention to the perplexity build around NEET and AIPMT. Focus on the preparation and do well in the upcoming NEET exam.
